മമ്മൂട്ടി നായകനായി അമര് അക്ബര് ആന്റണിയെന്നൊരു ചിത്രം രചനയും സംവിധാനവും ജഗദീഷ് നിര്വഹിക്കുന്നു എന്നൊരു വാര്ത്ത സജീവമായി രംഗത്തുണ്ടായിരുന്നു. ഇപ്പോള് കേള്ക്കുന്നത് ആ ചിത്രം തന്നെ റദ്ദായതായാണ്. മമ്മൂട്ടി ചിത്രം താന് ഉദ്ദേശിക്കുന്നതിലും അധികം ബിഗ്ബജറ്റാകാന് സാദ്ധ്യതയുള്ളതിനാല് താനാ ചിത്രം വേണ്ടെന്നു വയ്ക്കുകയും പകരം മറ്റൊരു ചെറിയ ചിത്രത്തിനുവേണ്ടി നീങ്ങുകയാണെന്നും ജഗദീശ് അവകാശപ്പെടുന്നെങ്കിലും മമ്മൂട്ടി തിരക്കഥ ഇഷ്ടപ്പെടാതെ ചിത്രത്തില്നിന്നു മാറിയതാണെന്നും കേള്ക്കുന്നുണ്ട്. ഏതായാലും ജഗദീഷ് ചിത്രത്തില് മമ്മൂട്ടി ഉണ്ടാകില്ലെന്നുറപ്പായി. മോഹന്ലാലിനെ നായകനാക്കി അധിപന് എന്ന ചിത്രത്തിനടക്കം പല ചിത്രങ്ങള്ക്കും രചന നിര്വഹിച്ച ആളാണ് ജഗദീഷ്. ഈയിടെ വന്ന ഏപ്രില് ഫൂളിന്റെയും തിരക്കഥ ഇദ്ദേഹത്തിന്റേതായിരുന്നു.
